In this compelling novel, my friend, Ty Epling, has caught the range of human emotions and aspirations while carefully weaving in the spiritual considerations. Ivan progresses through the process of coming to know the Lord Jesus personally and traverses the terrain of spiritual growth, eventuating in the fulfillment of end time's prophecy.

His journey in spiritual growth parallels that in my book, Handbook to Happiness, where the scriptural underpinnings are given in more detail. The background of persecution and hardship lends credibility to Ivan's overcoming in the power of the Spirit.

Since all of us face some share of suffering, it is encouraging to know that there is a purpose in it and a culmination as we experience the Cross and come to an understanding or our death and resurrection with Christ (Galatians 2:20). R. Ty Epling is an evangelist who loves sharing the Bible with anyone who will listen and discuss its riches. He was born in Crab Orchard, West Virginia February 6, 1941. Ty served in the United States Navy and traveled through the Mediterranean countries. He is a graduate of West Virginia University and holds a Bible Certificate from Appalachian Bible College. Brother Ty, as he is affectionately called by those that know him, has served as witness, teacher, counselor, and preacher for decades in several states.
